Tracy Frenkel

Producer / Casting Director / Actor

Born and raised in Chicago, Tracy got his start early in the entertainment industry by performing magic. He attended the University of Florida and The University of Central Florida and earned his BFA degree in Theater with a minor in Radio/Tv Communications.

Tracy was an emcee at live events that promoted the advertisers in Playboy magazine, a standup comic, and improvisational comedian.  In 1983, Tracy and a partner opened Railway Video Productions in Winter Park, Florida, which was home to several Emmy nominated projects.  In 1986, after auditioning at The Second City, in Chicago, Tracy received a scholarship study at The Second City Training Center. While being employed at the theater, Tracy also was cast in David Mamet’s film titled THINGS CHANGE, where as a mob hitman he shared screen time with Don Amici and Joe Mantegna.

Tracy relocated back to Orlando, Florida in 1989 and was cast as two reoccurring characters on the Nickelodeon sitcom WELCOME FRESHMEN.  Tracy is a member of SAG AFTRA, WIFT, and over the years has continued to work as an actor in many films, Tv shows including: Earth to the Moon, Unsolved Mysteries, America’s Most Wanted, Keenan and Kel, Slime Time Live, as well as many TV commercials.

Currently, Tracy still acts and has a busy schedule working as a producer, director, casting director, and acting coach. Tracy is married, to wife Bonnie, and they are involved in Racing Greyhound rescue and enjoy collecting authentic Native American art.
